This is what I see when I look out my living room window..This is the sight from my front door...Here though is the best view of all....

We have just spent the past 74 hours straight without electricity...our entire town for the most part have all been without power...we regained power about 2 hours ago, but now are without water....I however am thankful for the lights, internet, and central heat:) The outside is gorgeous...as long as I can just look at it...the kids really enjoyed playing in the snow! This is our second major storm in a month in Oklahoma...

An Exciting Weekend!

Thursday afternoon my friend Jennifer and I loaded up our boys (Seth on the right(mine) and Kaden on the left (Jenn's) and headed to Tennessee. We were on a mission...a very SECRET mission. The boys and I were traveling to Memphis to surprise their best friend, Xander, at St. Jude's. The three boys are amazing buddies! They are classmates, teammates, and go to church together. They are extremely close...just like their moms ;) Xander is doing some new treatments for his Neuroblastoma and this was his last trip! Boy! Was he surprised??? AND you know what a BIG deal it was for these boys to keep a secret for that long...especially giving whom their momma's are haha!

New Obsession....

I had such a good time snapping some pics of my friend Audra's kiddos...some of you know that i recently took a basic photography class and I got to put my new found knowledge to use with some other kids than my own....(I'm sure Chloe and Seth are happy about this;) Here are a couple of my favorites!!!

Cheap Decorative Ball

Start with your cheap-o styrofoam ball, hot glue gun, and jute rope...

Begin gluing the jute on in a spiral shape, placing the twine right next to the row before.

Keep going, and going! Yes this takes a little while.

But look how adorable the finished decorative ball is:)
