So here she is in all her (shabby) glory...I love the lines on this dainty lil chair:) I found her about 2 years ago and she has looked like this since the day I brought her home...I just wasn't sure what needed to happen to make her look like I envisioned her...skip forward a year and I stumble across so many blogs chalked full of ideas for redoing shabby finds like this one. It took me a while to 1. get my nerve up to try to do. 2. Find enough time to do it. and 3. determine exactly what I wanted her to look like.
Well I finally decided she would make the perfect little seat for my computer area in my new croffice {craft room + office} so I sanded her a bit with a sanding block.... used some spray on Krylon primer and spray painted her Krylon's Glossy Ivy Green. When I was finished, I still knew I wanted a little more of an antique feel, so I took some of my black acrylic craft paint and added water to it and viola a very cheap "glaze"! I applied the glaze liberally and wipe off about a minute later working in sections until I liked the way it looked! Then I used triple thick clear spray glaze to seal her...isn't she loverly????
I love these legs!!!

Love the color! And the chair is amazing! Great job!
Cute chair. Don't you just love painting vintage furniture? It's almost like haveing a 3-D coloring book.
